Come explore the full range of Jewish literature connected to environmental consciousness and action, from Tanakh, Talmud, and halakhah to mysticism, poetry, and philosophy. We aim to grapple with some of the pressing ecological, social, and theological issues facing us today. How do Jewish sources help us face current questions? How can our community respond?

In the midst of so much heart-wrenching news from Israel, come watch the Joint Memorial Ceremony sponsored every year since 2006 by collaborative peace organizations
Parents’ Circle/Families’ Forum and Combatants for Peace. The ceremony models how Israelis and Palestinians, all of whom have lost beloved loved ones in the conflict, can grieve and sing together, and dream together of a better future. We will gather at Etz Chayim to watch the live broadcast, then debrief our reactions.
