Teen Chai (Grades 9-12) Exploring Israel in the World Today
What about Israel? What do I know? What do I feel? What’s confusing? How did we get to where we are? And, where exactly are we? Teen Chai provides knowledge and understanding of the deep and inherent relationship between Jewish identity and our historical connection to the Land of Israel. How can we better understand the complexities around the establishment of the modern state of Israel, its 70+ years of independence, recent events and Israel's future?
Sunday, 7:00-8:30 pm, twice a month, open to Etz Chayim teens and their friends.
Teen Chai meets on Sunday, 7:00-8:30 pm, twice a month.
Tuition: $600 for Etz Chayim members, $650 for all others.
Madrichim: Students in 9th grade and above may also be interested in Madrichim, a teen leadership training program. Madrichim learn teaching skills and are given guidance in crafting and implementing creative ways of engaging younger students in Jewish learning and life.
