Monday, September 17, 2012 • 1 Tishrei 5773
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Looking for a kid-friendly event during the High Holy Days?
Join us for a Rosh HaShanah “service” tailor made for children ages 3 to 6
If you are raising a Jewish child and looking for something different for the High Holy Days, join members and non-members of Congregation Etz Chayim (Palo Alto) for a special event on Rosh HaShanah around 11:00 – 12:00. The program is geared for families with children ages three to six.
Our special guests, Treasure Cohen and her husband Rich, bring stories, music, puppets, and fun for the holidays. Treasure is a Jewish family educator, teacher trainer, and professional storyteller. The former director of Family and Community Education at the Jewish Education Association of MetroWest, she is currently an adjunct professor at Montclair State University, a consultant to synagogues and schools, and a matriculated student at the Davison Graduate School of Education at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
The service is open to members of the community. To ensure a secure environment, advance registration is required. Location information will be included in your confirmation email, and you can pick up your name tags at the Welcome Table outside of this service.
Etz Chayim members, no registration is required but please wear your HHD tags and say “hi” to someone you don’t know!
Can't make it on Rosh HaShanah? Join our mailing list for members and non-members of Etz Chayim interested in children's services.
