Singing in the Sukkah for Women

The intention of this event is to gather as women of Etz Chayim and to create and strengthen deeper connections to our community, as we celebrate Sukkot. Please feel free to invite other women who might enjoy this event, who aren’t Etz members.

Motzi will be at 6:30 and we’ll spend the first hour eating and schmoozing. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new friends. Dinner will be followed by lively and fun-filled singing.
In order to have a variety of dishes we recommend bringing a dairy or fish dish, according to your last name:
Salad/Soup: A-F
Side Dishes: G-L
Main Dishes: M-R
Desserts: S- Z
Please bring your dish ready to serve and serving utensils for your dish. In order to be green, please bring your own cloth napkin and eating utensils.
We would love to sing your favorite song, Jewish or secular, and if it is not well known, you could offer to teach it. RSVP if you will be attending to Sarah at spschachter@yahoo.com
 
Please include the words, if you have a song you would like to share, by Friday the 14th and we will have the words printed.
If anyone is interested in leading Motzi, before the meal, please let Sarah know.
