Shabbat Together

Calling all families with school-age children – let’s find time to be together on Shabbat.  

Like Star Wars, we’ll start in the middle of the story.  

Episode III: Escorting the Queen

 Saturday, February 4^th ,  4:30 to 6:30PM

We’ll gather for “seudah shlishit”, the traditional third meal of the day -- in this case, salad & sandwich bar and ice-cream.  Also kid's activities (dress-up, food art, games) and optional Torah discussion for the adults.

We’ll end with havdalah, the ceremony to escort the Shabbat Queen as she departs for the week.  

 $6 per person will cover costs.  However, we never want money to be a barrier to participation.  If this is a problem for you, please call the office (650-813-9094) and speak with Ellen, our executive director.
