Sunday, February 12th, 11:15AM-12:15PM Boys and Girls: Superhero and Exclusionary Play of Preschoolers
Four-Year old boys and girls explore power in different ways, as they test boundaries, navigate friendships, andassert their independence. Boys use superhero strengths and good guy/bad guy scenarios, while girls focus more on relationships and exclusionary play. We discuss these age-appropriate power plays and develop positive parenting strategies to set health limits and build resiliency in young children.
