Neshama Women's Tu Bishvat Potluck (doubletree)
Monday, February 6, 2012 • 13 Shevat 5772
6:30 PM - 8:30 PMWomen will be celebrating the New Year of the Trees with a dairy/fish potluck, followed by singing.
We are asking participants to bring a favorite song or two (secular, Jewish, Hebrew, English, etc) and if it's not a well known song, to offer to teach it. If it has reference to a tree or planting, so much the better. If you play a musical instrument, please feel free to bring it with you. We have an electric piano we can set up if you let the office know ahead of time.
In order to have a variety of dishes, please consider bringing a no-meat/shellfish dish, according to your last name:
Salad/Soup: G-L
Side Dishes: M-R
Main Dishes: S-Z
Desserts: A-F
If you don’t like your assignment, feel free to bring something else. Bring your dish ready to serve with serving utensils. In order to be green, please bring your own cloth napkin and eating utensils. Also, please bring a can of food for the Ecumenical Hunger Project.
If you can come early (6:15) to set up or can stay for a few minutes at the end to clean up, please let Ellen know.
