Kol Yisrael in the Sukkah: The Diversity of the Israeli & American Mishpacha with Randi Brenowitz

Sunday, October 1, 2023 16 Tishrei 5784

7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Randi travels to Israel regularly to build bridges between the American and Israeli Jewish communities. She will take us on a journey through her most recent Israel trip with the Shalom Hartman Institute where she listened and participated in events surrounding the Israeli court reform controversy and cultural interchange between our communities. The event is an opportunity to hear about the varied social and political dynamics in Israel today and to discuss and ask questions on these topics.

Randi Brenowitz currently serves as the International President of the Melton School for Adult Jewish Learning.  She is a proud Etznik where she is a regular at Torah study and the women's retreat among other things. In addition to the many roles she has taken on for Melton,  Randi has served in leadership roles with many other Jewish organizations such as World ORT, the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation, Congregations Keddem, and Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School. At one point in her professional career, she was the Chief Operating Officer of the ALS Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto.  Randi lives in Palo Alto with her husband, writer and therapist, Marty Klein
