Congregation Etz Chayim

Chag ha Banot or Eid il Banaat (Festival of Daughters) has been celebrated on Rosh Chodesh Tevet by Jewish women from the Middle East and North Africa for many years. The day is focused on ceremonial gatherings of girls and women with symbolic rituals, sweet foods, and traditional songs and dancing. It brings together generations of women and girls for a celebration of Jewish heroines throughout history. Click through for registration.

Our annual end-of-year solstice/handbell Shabbat returns in person. Mark will lead a traditional service including meditative moments and musical accompaniment provided by the Trinity Episcopal handbell choir and Jonathan Salzedo.
