Upcoming Events

Neshama Women's Retreat Registration Open to Members

Etz Chayim women go away for a weekend of hiking, arts activities, singing, discussion, poetry, dancing, a Friday night Shabbat service, Saturday morning Torah study, and fun.  We also hope to have a challah baking session at Etz before we take off for the Presentation Center in Los Gatos.

Sample our Programs for Young Children

Looking for a way to bring more Jewish fun into your life?  Hoping to meet other parents raising Jewish kids?  Wondering if you'd want your child to participate in a Sunday morning religious school program?  We're offering free tastes of our classes this Spring.
If your child will be in Kindergarten next year, come visit our MiDor I'Dor (from generation to generation) program on Sunday, 5/20. Learn about Jewish holidays with teacher Peri Baloun and the cast of Sesame Street.
Spaces are limited for this special offer.  Make arrangements ahead of time with Melissa Rogoway.

Shalom in the Shul

Shalom in the Shul, a drop-in program for Jewish preschoolers and their families, open to the community, returns to Etz Chayim  Saturday morning, May 12, at 10:00.

Learn

Lifelong learning is a goal we enthusiastically embrace at Etz Chayim. Our educational programs mirror the diverse and inclusive values of our community.

Sing

Etz Chayim is a congregation who loves to sing. We do not have a cantor or choir. Congregants "lead from their seats" by fully participating in the prayers and songs throughout the service.

Hear us sing!

Pray

If you are looking for a place of worship, we invite you to visit. With fewer than 300 member households, we are small enough to know everyone, yet large enough to provide a full array of programming.

Friday Evenings at 7:30 pm
Saturday Mornings at 10:00 am
Torah Study at 9:00 am
Contemplative Service at 10:00 am on first Saturday of each month

Fifth Friday Special Celebratory Services at 7:30pm in months with five Fridays.
