At Etz Chayim, we enourage members to become a member of the community by participating and volunteering.  We have no cantor, so members sing,  lead services and read Torah.  Our website contains the melodies of the songs we sing.  Many congregants learn to read Torah as an adult and then enjoy reading at a Saturday morning service.

Members can also participate by sponsoring an Oneg and being an editing Torah commentaries for the Bar/t Mitzvah.

Members also volunteer to be on the board, chair and be members of committees and social groups.
