AdventurEtz is a group of Etz Chayim members and friends who enjoy hiking and other outdoor adventures. Local Sunday morning hikes of four to eight miles in length are our most common type of outing, though we have had successful birdwatching/nature trips and one cross-country ski weekend. Other adventures—cycling or kayaking, for example— are certainly possible, if there is sufficient interest. While there are a total of 51 individual members, we're all busy folks, so our trips have ranged from four to 14 participants, a fun size for socializing and exercising! Anyone is free to propose a trip at any time. If you have a favorite hike and would like to invite others, post to our forum, including proposed date & time, and let's see what kind of interest we get!

This is not an exclusive group. If you are interested in joining us, subscribe to our RSS feed, and if you know of others who might like to join in, encourage them to do so, as well. Word of mouth has proven to be the best advertising.
