My G0d, G0d of my Fathers and Mothers

Lifney haKahal haKadosh hazeh

Before this holy congregation

Hin'ni bocher(et) l'himanot bik'hal Yisra-El

I choose to count myself in the congegation of Israel

            Yoresh(et) limorashto,

            To inherit its tradtion

            Shutaf(ah) ligoralo,

            Participate in its destiny

            v'chayyav (chayyevet) b'mitzvotav.

            And be bound by its Mitzvot.

Tein bi koach lalechet bidrachav

Give me the strength to walk in its ways

v'lihiyot limkor ga'avah limishpach'ti,

And be a source of pride to my family

            lik'hilati ul'ami.

            my congregation, and my people

Ashreynu, mah tov chelkeinu,

How happy we are, how good our lot,

Umah na'im goraleinu

How pleasant our destiny

Umah yafah y'rushateinu

How beautiful our inheritance.
